Mera Tabi in the Land of the Gods – Izumo

AR Experience App “Mera Tabi in the Land of the Gods – Izumo” was a location-based WebAR stamp rally implemented as part of the “Mera Tabi in Kamigami no Kuni Izumo” tourism collaboration with the popular anime SHAMAN KING in Izumo. The campaign invited fans and visitors to explore iconic spots around Izumo City using WebAR: as participants visited designated locations tied to the anime and regional attractions, they could view augmented reality markers and stamps through their mobile browser to collect digital stamps in the rally. This interactive AR element was integrated into the broader Mera Tabi tourism promotion, which featured sightseeing experiences, digital stamp rewards, and anime-themed engagement with Izumo’s cultural destinations and heritage.
