CREATIVE GARDEN KYOTO

CREATIVE GARDEN KYOTO was an AR art exhibition and XR promotion project organized by Kyoto Prefecture as part of its broader efforts to explore digital technology applications in culture and tourism. Running from March 4 to March 19, 2023, the project used AR and XR technologies to expand art into everyday spaces such as parks, museums, and public venues across Kyoto Prefecture, enabling visitors to experience augmented artworks integrated with real-world scenes and environments. Exhibits appeared at multiple sites including parks, museums, and cultural locations, inviting audiences to interact with digital art in public settings and fostering creativity and engagement with spatial computing concepts. The initiative aimed to promote creative talent, enhance cultural experiences through immersive technology, and explore new ways of blending physical environments with digital artistic expression.
